One of the founding baronies of the Kingdom of Caid, in the Society for Creative Anachronism,
located in San Bernardino and Riverside counties in Southern California.
We share San Bernardino County with the Shires of al-Sahid to our north, and Heatherwyne to our west.
Within our borders lie the Cantons of Gallavally and Mons Draconis and the Stronghold of Steinsee.
These maps show where we are in relation to Southern California and the rest of Caid.

Dreiburgen E-mail List Information

SUBSCRIBING TO DREIBURGEN MAILING LISTS

You can subscribe to any of the baronial lists on the kingdom server at the following pages:

SENDING MESSAGES:

After a user has subscribed to a list, they can send messages to the list. The message is received by the list server and then sent to all members of the list including the original author. The addresses to send messages to the lists are:

Messages received from a list show the message to be from the original sender and to the mail list. A Reply-To header causes a reply to be addressed back to the list. If the user wants to also reply to the original author, they must manually add the original author to the reply.

GETTING MORE HELP

Send an email with the word "help" (without the quotes) in the subject or body to the appropriate address. You will get a file with further commands available for that list, including unsubscribing and setting digest mode. A list of possible commands is available on the GNU Mailman List Member Manual

  • A backup list for Dreiburgen, for the rare occasions the kingdom lists go down.
  • Dreiburgen Fighters, "intended for the use of fighters and warbands (and their representatives and support staff) residing within the Barony of Dreiburgen, as well as any others who may fight or have interest in fighting beneath Dreiburgen's banner in times of war."
  • Dreiburgen Encampment, "to coordinate the planning of Baronial encampments at various SCA events"
