Dreiburgen AnniversaryOctober 21, 2006Greetings to one and all! The Barony of Dreiburgen invites all good gentles to join us for a festival of frog frenzy in celebration of our 32nd Anniversary. Site fee: $5.00 with proof of membership, $8.00 non-members; Children 6-12 $3.00; 5 & under are guests of the Barony. $20.00 maximum per family. The event will feature a heavy weapons and a rapiers' tournament, along with a youth combat champion's tournament. This year's Anniversary will also include the first Bard of Dreiburgen Competition. This competition will be held yearly, with the winner serving as Court Bard to the Baroness of Dreiburgen. Follow the above link for further details on the competition. What, there's more? Also scheduled is an inkle loom competition (bring your warped loom.) Other activities will include family friendly frog festivities, such as an on-site frog prince decorating contest, a flying frog competition, and origami for those who would like to try their hand at this craft. And as if all of that isn't enough, there will be an arts pavilion set up for those who wish to display their arts. So, mark your calendar, and leap, hop, jump, spring, or just drive on over to Bordwell Park for a frolicking fun day!
